Nil Rommel

Nil Rommel

Nil moved here from Montreal in 1986 and feels wonderfully blessed to have had the opportunity of working at the Conservatory for the last twenty-four years! In fact, she enjoys teaching more and more as the years go by.

Nil received her Bachelor of Music degree from McGill University and has played in numerous concerts in Europe and in almost every Canadian province. She has been heard on CBC Radio several times and appeared on CBC Television as a finalist in the Canadian Music Competitions. Nil has also played in the Prince George Symphony Orchestra for twenty-four years until her retirement from that organization just this year.

Nil has many interests including being a huge fan of NASCAR, country music, and the winter Olympics! She also plays in a worship team at her church and really enjoys being a member of her church's flag team as well. Nil sincerely tries to make all of her students feel special and valued, regardless of their talents and strives to motivate them to be the absolute best that they can be.
